Krieg in der Ukraine

Diesbezüglich habe ich mich an Kanzler Scholz, Herrn Merz, Frau Baerboch, Frau Strack-Zimmermann und sogar an den Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten gewandt. Hier der Brief an den Präsidenten: Dear Mr. President! Herewith I ask for your help for Ukraine! It is now unbearable to watch the crimes in Ukraine. The capacity for suffering and the bravery of the Ukrainians is remarkable, but in the end Ukraine will only be able to win when Russia runs out of missiles or money. By then, oodles of blood will have been shed. You cannot imagine how ashamed I am of my country! If Germany had not been instrumental in preventing Ukraine's admission to NATO, war would not have happened in the first place. For that reason alone, Germany would now be obliged to stand by Ukraine, and not just with money. Unfortunately, our chancellor has considerably less courage than you! Independently for the German responsibility, however, every Christian and every democrat in the whole world should make the claim to himself to intervene, if people are slaughtered, only because they would like to live democratically. To retreat to the fact that Ukraine does not belong to the "NATO club" is downright grotesque! My wife and I have worked all our lives to own our own home. If we lose our house and our home in case of war, it would be terrible for us, too. But it is even more terrible to see people in our neighborhood slaughtered just because they want to live democratically. I would like to see direct support of Ukraine by NATO troops on the territory of Ukraine. Ultimately, it would be the same support that Putin receives from Chechen, Syrian, and African troops. As long as the confrontation remains only in the territory of Ukraine, I do not hope to see it expand into a third world war. Especially if all the 140 countries that support Ukraine were to help militarily, that would be a completely impenetrable front opposing Russia. Putin can't possibly (want to) fight all the countries. Of course, I lack the overview to even have an opinion about this. But what is happening now is barbaric and not worthy of a civilized world of our time! The USA in particular is doing incredible things to support Ukraine at the moment, but I fear that even this will not be enough. Please lead NATO and show Europe what it means to be brave!
